Affiliated with the United Nations, as an NGO, IF-MC-CA-DI has recently been
restructured to play a leadership role in building a local-global network of individuals and groups to help bridge social and cultural divides among and between cultural communities. It operates at the different levels and in the various sectors of civil societies.
IF-MC-CA-DI is currently focused on strengthening the existing weak relationships between the United States and Latin America. It promotes, cooperation, trade, integration and development among and between economic, social, cultural and political entrepreneurs, activists and scholars in the Caribbean, Central America, South America, North- America, and in the expanding transnational communities in these regions.
